Vanilla Planifolia was selected from more than 117 vanilla varieties for its extraordinary richness in polyketones. Grown and harvested at the CHANEL open-sky laboratory in Madagascar, it has been refined to make 4 key ingredients: polyfractioned Vanilla Planifolia, Éphémères of Planifolia, enfleurage oil and Intense Vanilla Planifolia Water.

Himalayan Swertia is sourced from a biodiverse region in Bhutan, where it has been used for centuries to care for skin. Through a long-term local and sustainable partnership with CHANEL Research, it is harvested by hand every 3 years during the plant’s flowering cycle. It is then transformed to make a custom restoring complex specific to CHANEL.

Camellia ceramides provide hydration and help maintain barrier function.

Ultra-fine golden pearlescent particles give skin a lit-from-within look, morning and night.

L’APPLICATION SIGNATURE
Apply SUBLIMAGE L’EXTRAIT POMMADE OR to the entire face as the finishing touch in the SUBLIMAGE LES EXTRAITS ritual. Warm a small amount between your fingertips, then dab onto each cheek, as well as the forehead. With both hands, smooth in an upward motion from the center outward.

L’APPLICATION SUBLIMATRICE
For a bespoke radiance, use SUBLIMAGE L’EXTRAIT POMMADE OR on targeted areas. Warm the product between your fingertips, then tap onto the high points of the face that naturally catch light: the center of the forehead, tops of cheekbones and brow bone.

LE RITUEL RELAXATION
A specific technique created by CHANEL that offers a unique moment of calm and relaxation. Begin by applying gentle pressure to the sinuses using your thumbs, then to the eyes using the palms of your hands. Massage the temples with a circular motion. Perform deep smoothing movements upward along the jawline, then upward on the trapezius. Using the included spatula, take a small amount of SUBLIMAGE L’EXTRAIT POMMADE OR and warm it between your fingertips. Apply to the face using deep smoothing movements, going upward between the eyebrows, then outward above the eyebrows and across the forehead toward the hairline. Continue by smoothing on either side of each forehead wrinkle. Finish with a smoothing gesture on the cheeks, then soothing circular movements along the jawline.
